This sporty vintage Omega Chronostop Geneve wristwatch dates from 1969. Featuring a unique matte grey dial with silver hour markers and a bright orange seconds hand. Even with it’s depth of colour and eye catching orange contrast on the second hand, you can still see the ‘pie-pan’ styled finish to the dial. This classic timepiece has the case reference 146.009. The 35mm stainless steel case houses a hand wind mechanical movement which is in full working order and has been recently serviced by our watchmakers.
This watch is supplied with a Parkers 12-month warranty.
Model History:
The Omega Chronostop was first launched in the late 1960’s as a slightly ‘edgy’ answer into finding more young consumers for the Omega brand. Omega launched a Dynamic, Drivers, Geneve and Seamaster version of the Chronostop watch. The collections were only produced for a short duration of time, but their unique movements and alternative designs have led to many finding the collection a collectable classic.
Condition Report:
The watch is in an overall excellent condition with some light wear and scratches across the case and bracelet.
