This pre owned Rolex Date Oyster Perpetual stainless steel and gold wristwatch dates from circa 1977 and is in overall excellent condition with minor marks showing to the case, bracelet and glass.
Featuring a gold dial with gold batons, this is the iconic 1500 model. The 34mm case houses an automatic with date function which has been thoroughly checked by our experienced onsite watchmaker and is in full working order.
Model History:
Similar to the Datejust range, but unique nonetheless, the Rolex Date is a slightly smaller and sleeker version of the Datejust. The 34mm case size of the Date edges the traditional 36mm Datejust size. Beyond its size, the bezel is usually a main point of difference aesthetically between the collections. The Date was launched in the mid 50’s and continues to be one of Rolex’s most popular designs.
