This pre-owned Cartier Santos Galbée Gold & Stainless Steel watch dates from 2009 and features a 24mm steel case, with it’s iconic screwed gold bezel. The Cartier has an automatic movement which has been thoroughly examined by our watchmakers and is in full working order. The white dial is completed with Roman numerals and dark blue hands.

Model History:
Louis Cartier designed the modern strapped wrist watch to accommodate the complaints of his friend and famous aviation pioneer Albert Santos-Dumont. Together they started a trend and a desire for this style of wristwatch. The Cartier Santos Galbée was launched in the 1980’s and offers both a quartz and automatic version of the watch. The Galbée is a slightly softer variation of the Santos, slightly eradicating the square shape to the case.
