This pre owned Rolex Oyster Date Perpetual Steel is the 1500 model, dating from circa 1979. The 34mm case showcases a polished bezel, black dial with silver indices and hands, and a date window at the 3 o’clock position, featuring a cyclops lens for an enhanced view point. The dial is protected by an acrylic crystal glass. Within the case is a fully functioning automatic movement which has been thoroughly checked by our watchmakers. This Rolex Oyster Date is on its original Oyster Steel bracelet.
This Rolex is supplied with a 12-month Parkers warranty.
Model History:
Introduced in the 1960’s, the 1500 can be considered a slightly smaller, refined alternative to the famous Datejust design it followed. The Oyster Perpetual was introduced in 1931 and became the worlds first waterproofed automatic wristwatch.
