Introducing the Omega Chronostop Geneve Date, model reference 146.009, dating from c.1969.
This stylish manual-winding Omega watch boasts a 35mm stainless steel cushion-shaped case. Within the 12mm-deep case, the Chronostop Geneve is powered by the calibre 920 Omega movement, which has been thoroughly examined by our watchmakers and is in full working order.
A plexiglass protects the mid-blue, striking dial. Silver, faceted batons surround the rich dial, with a date window located at the 3 o'clock position. The Omega's Chronostop function, located at the 2 o'clock position of the case, is fully functional.
Lastly, this Geneve is attached to its original Omega steel mesh-style bracelet, with an Omega clasp. The bracelet shows little to no signs of wear, with no apparent signs of metal fatigue.
This Omega is supplied with a Parkers 12-month warranty and a Parkers watch box.
Model History:
The history of the Omega Chronostop is extensive for a collection that didn't even last half a decade. The cal.920 model was used in the Mexico 1968 Olympics as a timer, but still only lasted four years in production. The Chronostop was first imagined to be a part of the Seamaster range, but became a part of the Geneve instead.
Condition Report:
Overall Excellent Condition.
I can not fault had watch delivered on time and well packed, a slight problem with the watch and reported it to Parkers return envelope sent to me next day for it to go back to Parkers to be adjusted, a great customer service, I will be using them in.the future.
Used this company for the first time and purchased an Omega and a Bremont both arrived within two days in excellent condition as their photos showed will definitely use them again.
Delighted with the customer service received recently at Parkers. Great communication , friendly and welcoming. I had lost my receipt and David was able to look up my details and confirm my purchase. My watch was returned to me in a much better condition than I left it!
