The end of the 1960s saw another Omega Seamaster design launched to market. This model, reference 166.037 SP dating from 1968, boasts a deeper case design but with all the elegance that the vintage Seamaster is renowned for.

Whilst the round case, polished slim bezel, and sunburst dial are reminiscent of other Omega Seamasters of the 60s, this particular Omega has a more 'brutalist' approach to its design. With a deeper case and symmetric, steep-sloping lugs, this Omega looks calculated and aligned, rather than the typical softer, dress watch style. The stainless steel 34.5mm case houses an automatic caliber 565 movement, with quick-set functionality for the date calendar.

The sloping lugs guide the watch into the original bead of rice, a stainless steel Omega bracelet. This bracelet is more elongated and squared than the more traditionally recognised bead of rice style. The Seamaster boasts a date window at the 3 o'clock position, slim silver hands with a black-faceted finish, and stick indices with the same finish.

This watch has been thoroughly tested by our watchmakers and is in full working order. This Omega Seamaster is provided with a Parkers 12-month warranty and a Parkers watch box.

Model History:

A Seamaster known for its role in Omega's transition into the Geneve collection. It features a caliber 565 movement and case design that would later end up in other Omega Seamaster and Omega Geneve lines.

At Parkers, we use Royal Mail Special Delivery by 1pm for all shipping. This is a guaranteed next-day delivery, expected to arrive with you by 1pm at the latest, and theparcel will need to be signed for. This is not only insured to the highest level via Royal Mail, but it’s also further covered by our private insurance.

We will provide you with a tracking reference once the watch is ready to be sent out. We will also always coordinate with you to make sure that we’re sending the watch out at a convenient time for you, where either you or someone else will be able to accept and sign for the parcel.

You are also welcome to collect the watch from any of our stores and concessions, should that suit you better.

We accept returns up to 14 days from receiving the watch. If you’re purchasing a watch on behalf of someone else as a gift and the date you wish to present this is after the 14 days, please let us know and we will accommodate you.

For any returns via post, we will provide you with a pre-paid and insured Royal Mail shipping bag. All you’ll need to do once you receive this bag, is parcel the watch back up securely and drop it into a local post oNice. They’ll scan the barcode and provide you with a tracking reference receipt. Please keep this safe.

All of our watches are covered by a one-year warranty. We will provide you with a Parkers warranty card on purchase that has been dated and signed by one of our team. The warranty covers any issues within the movement. Please don’t hesitate to contact us should you purchase a watch that begins to have running issues during or after the one-year warranty.

We accept all credit and debit cards. Our payment platform via our website will provide you with a receipt instantly after purchasing a watch or accessory. We will then reconfirm your purchase as soon as possible with further Parkers receipts, as well as arrange shipping or collection with you. I can not fault had watch delivered on time and well packed, a slight problem with the watch and reported it to Parkers return envelope sent to me next day for it to go back to Parkers to be adjusted, a great customer service, I will be using them in.the future.
