King of the skies, this pre-owned Rolex Oyster Air-King Precision is model reference 5500. The watch dates from 1970.

The original distinctive gold dial features gold hands, indices, and markers, surrounded by a sporty polished steel bezel.

Within the 34mm stainless steel case, this vintage Rolex is powered by an automatic caliber 1520 movement, which is in full working order and has been thoroughly examined by our watchmakers.

The Air-King attaches to its original Rolex Oystersteel 7835 bracelet with an original Rolex clasp. The Rolex is supplied with a Parkers 12-month warranty and a Parkers watch box.

Model History:

Before the Air-King came the Rolex Air series. The Air-King model stood proudly alongside the Air-Lion, Air-Tiger, and Air-Giant. The collections were created to honour the brave pilots of the Royal Air Force and their bravery in World War Two. Today, the Air-King is the only remaining Air watch from the original collections. The Rolex Air-King 5500 was produced from the late 1950s until the end of the 80s, with a few different caliber movements fitted along the way.

At Parkers, we use Royal Mail Special Delivery by 1pm for all shipping. This is a guaranteed next-day delivery, expected to arrive with you by 1pm at the latest, and theparcel will need to be signed for. This is not only insured to the highest level via Royal Mail, but it’s also further covered by our private insurance.

We will provide you with a tracking reference once the watch is ready to be sent out. We will also always coordinate with you to make sure that we’re sending the watch out at a convenient time for you, where either you or someone else will be able to accept and sign for the parcel.

You are also welcome to collect the watch from any of our stores and concessions, should that suit you better.

We accept returns up to 14 days from receiving the watch. If you’re purchasing a watch on behalf of someone else as a gift and the date you wish to present this is after the 14 days, please let us know and we will accommodate you.

For any returns via post, we will provide you with a pre-paid and insured Royal Mail shipping bag. All you’ll need to do once you receive this bag, is parcel the watch back up securely and drop it into a local post oNice. They’ll scan the barcode and provide you with a tracking reference receipt. Please keep this safe.

All of our watches are covered by a one-year warranty. We will provide you with a Parkers warranty card on purchase that has been dated and signed by one of our team. The warranty covers any issues within the movement. Please don’t hesitate to contact us should you purchase a watch that begins to have running issues during or after the one-year warranty.

We accept all credit and debit cards. Our payment platform via our website will provide you with a receipt instantly after purchasing a watch or accessory. We will then reconfirm your purchase as soon as possible with further Parkers receipts, as well as arrange shipping or collection with you. Should you wish to pay over the phone rather than via the website, then please feel free to contact us.

I can not fault had watch delivered on time and well packed, a slight problem with the watch and reported it to Parkers return envelope sent to me next day for it to go back to Parkers to be adjusted, a great customer service, I will be using them in.the future.
